The beach is 3.5kms long and perfect for a long leisurely walk or finding a secluded spot to relax and soak up the sun. We supply beach towels, chairs and umbrellas for your relaxed, sun filled beach days.
You have a choice of Bed and Breakfast or Self Catering in one of our four accommodation options. Area AttractionsWhale Watching
The shoreline around Plett teams with whales between June and November. Ask a local or grab a map from the tourism office and find your perfect whale watching spot.
Water activities
Diving, snorkeling, sea kayaking, sundowner cruises, fishing charters, ferry trips, boat and canoe hire, Hobie Cat sailing, surfing and kite surfing - options are unlimited. Rock, fly, beach and deep sea fishing - whatever your pleasure.
Bungi Jump
For the adrenalin seekers, visit the highest commercial bungi jump in the world at Bloukrans River Bridge.
Mountain Biking
Perfect for the entire family, the Harkerville Cycle Routes offer all skill levels. Permits and maps for this trail are available at the "Garden of Eden" which is about 17 km from Plett on the N2 to Knysna. Guided biking trails are also available.
Hiking
The Robberg Peninsula offers three trails - short, medium and long, as well as a guided option. Other walks include Kranshoek, Garden of Eden, Nature's Valley, Wittedrift, Milkwood Trail, Tsitsikamma National Park trails and more. Longer trails with overnight huts can be booked.
Horse Riding
There are two companies near Plettenberg Bay that provide horse trails in the forest. (Unfortunately no horse riding allowed on beaches).
