Impodimo is set along a rocky ridge commanding stunning vistas of the reserve. It is also located at the source of a natural spring, which provides the lodge with elevated views as well as riverine serenity. The lodge offers dawn and dusk safaris. The safaris are carefully timed to ensure optimal seasonal comfort. Relax by the feature rock pool or read a book from the library while putting your feet up in the sala, overlooking the waterhole, frequented by game.

The Lodge is situated in the Madikwe Game Reserve, covering over 75000 hectares of bushveld, where Africa's big game roam free, including the 'Big Five', black rhino, cheetah and the endangered wild dog. 380km from Johannesburg International Airport.

Impodimo is tucked away in a valley alongside a natural spring and has eight glass fronted air-conditioned suites accommodating 16 guests in complete luxury. Each suite, with a bathroom, indoor and outdoor shower and private deck has been placed lovingly between tall Tamboti trees with exceptional views, creating the ultimate in luxury accommodation.

Children: Children under the age of 12 are permitted on safari at the sole discretion of the manager or guide. Children under the age of 6 years are not permitted on safari, and where possible, a kiddies safari will be arranged during normal safari times. The lodge reserves the right to impose similar restrictions for family unit guests if it is believed that safety may be compromised. Baby sitting facilities can be arranged at the lodge at an additional charge.

1 child under the age of 12 years can share with 2 adults in a Suite. Children sharing pay 50% of the adult sharing rate. Children in their own room will be charged the full adult rates.
