The Ledges is a guest farm situated amongst the breathtaking mountains in the Northern Drakensburg with spectacular views of Cannibal Cave and Sugar Loaf and a river running just below the accommodation.
The Ledges caters for a variety of needs. The farmhouse and other self-catering cabins are fully equipped and furnished with antiques. The farmhouse can accomodate seven to eight people and has a large veranda with a thatch lapa for braais, the other cabins can accomodate four and three people respectively. Our wooden bed and breakfast cabins can accomodate two people each and have ensuite bathrooms.

Area AttractionsThe restaurant caters for breakfast, lunch and dinners, and on cold wintry nights the old wooden pub and visitors? lounge are perfect places to relax in front of the fireplace. The conference lapa can accommodate both large and small groups of people and the magnificent scenery and the accessable location of the lodge between Johannesburg and Durban makes The Ledges the ideal place for conference and wedding venues.
Outdoor activities catered for include horse and ponyrides and hiking all over the Drakensburg region and our swimming pool, trampoline and animal farm are sure to delight the kids. Within an hour of driving in any direction, visitors can find plenty of places to abseil and rock climb, dams to fish in, curio shops and tourist attractions like monuments, historic battle sites, zulu dancers, art and craft workshops, fantastic eateries and a golf course.
