Area AttractionsThe Van Rhyn Guest House boasts the only Art Gallery in our area which is housed in the main house. Established in July 2001 this was an initiative between Koos Coetzee (a Vanrhynsdorp artist), the West Coast Art Association
and ourselves to establish a home for the Association members in which to display their talents and hopefully reach a wider audience. The Gallery is also host to artists from outside our immediate vicinity.
At the opening of the Gallery 60 paintings adorned the walls, this has now grown to around 110 and at the exhibitions held, as many as 130 paintings were displayed.
